THE GREAT EAST QUANTOCK RIVER PROJECT

 During research for the North Petherton Test Pitting project, an ancient river course was identified, running broadly west to east across the Quantocks, from Broomfield to North Petherton. This project is set up to discover the full extent of the river and to explore the importance it has had on human activity in the area.
